Washington, DC is full of opportunities to learn and connect! In the evenings and on the weekends, you’ll have time to broaden your interests as a result of living in a diverse, eclectic and international city. Enjoy free nightly performances at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and free admission to all 17 of the Smithsonian museums in the DC area. Explore the Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, or other historic sites located around the National Mall. The Washington Internship Institute has arranged community service activities and group outings to Washington Nationals' baseball games, movies, barbecues and more.

With the Washington Internship Institute, you don’t have to imagine these experiences— you’ll live them.

Washington, DC is full of opportunities to learn and connect. Free admission to all 19 Smithsonian Museums, free performances multiple times a week at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, not to mention the National Mall, monuments, sports teams, cultural events, and so much more.
