Credits and Billing

  • You can earn a full semester's worth of credits from Earlham during the fall and spring semesters (16 credits):

  • You pay what you normally pay to attend Earlham to participate in our program during the fall and spring semesters: your financial aid travels with you to DC.

    • Earlham Scholarships: Travel awards are available to assist students who want to study abroad with an Earlham program but find it difficult to manage the added expense of airfare. The funds are to be used for expenses related to travel to and from the destination of your program. Students are selected for these scholarships based on the quality of their scholarship application combined with a demonstrated financial need, as determined by the Center for Global and Career Education in consultation with the Financial Aid Office.

    • Your program fee includes costs for the full Earlham meal plan (19 meals), which will be returned to you as a meal stipend prior to the program. You will be responsible for purchasing your own groceries and preparing your own meals, and grocery stores and other amenities are easily accessible from program housing.

Consult with your faculty adviser and Jennifer Lewis to determine your credit and billing arrangements.
