SAMPLE INTERNSHIPS
DC is a diverse city when it comes to internship opportunities. Our students have interned in government offices across all three branches, non-profit organizations, and for-profit companies dealing with countless topics and missions from policy, politics, and social justice, to arts, culture, history, and more.
Washington Internship Institute staff works with you to find and apply for internships that fit your interests and qualifications. You are not limited to this or any list of organizations-- internships through WII are personally tailored, earned opportunities. From beginning to end, you will receive one-on-one professional support and guidance in building competitive applications and preparing for interviews.
Below is a list of sample organizations where students have interned recently. **Please note that while we will work with you until you have an internship, we cannot guarantee a placement with any specific organization.**
Some government agencies and high-profile organizations have early application deadlines. More opportunities are available to students who apply early!
